Open to graduating 12th-grade seniors, female and male, in all public high schools in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. Each student may submit only one piece. The work must be the ORIGINAL work of the student and have been completed within the past year.
AWARDS: Up to $2,000
ENTRIES: You may submit a fiction or non-fiction piece or poetry. The word count must not exceed 1,500 words. Entries will be judged for creativity and technical quality with special attention to the following rules for manuscript submissions.

*** Each entry must be double-spaced using a 12-point font ***
- Each student may submit only one entry with the exception of poetry. We will accept up to 3 poems.
- The entry must be the ORIGINAL work of the student.
Selected award recipients are invited to an Awards luncheon on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the Prestancia County Club. Framed art must accompany the artist for exhibition viewing.
The deadline for entry is Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
